For the 2021-2022 academic year, the proposed Seminars for the development of the subject of Anthropology and Contemporary World are those detailed below.

FIRST QUARTER

HISTORY SEMINAR – The major western powers during the 19th century

Coordinates: José María Alsina

Schedule: Tuesday, from October 5 until December 21, 2021 from 8:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m.

After the great revolutions of modernity that were the object of analysis in the past course, this year the seminar will focus on the most relevant events of the century XIX that allow us to understand the present time. It is noteworthy the problem posed by Russia that until the twentieth century the revolution did not take place, for this reason in this case the period analyzed will correspond to the twentieth century.

  2. United States of America: From the Civil War to being the first world power

Schedule: Wednesday, from October 6 until December 22, 2021 from 8:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m.

SECOND QUARTER

ETHICAL ISSUES SEMINAR

Schedule: Wednesday, from February 3 until April 27, 2022 from 8:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m.

The Theology of the Body in the Magisterium of Saint John Paul II

The price of each seminar is 30€, if you participate in the four seminars the total price will be 100€.
