HISTORY

The Mater Salvatoris University College of the Company of the Savior is the first university college in Barcelona. It was founded in 1946 by the Mother Maria Felix Torres, one of the first Spanish women graduate in Chemistry.

It provides residence to students and promotes the scientific and cultural formation of those who live there, projecting its activity to the service of the entire university community.

From its foundation until 2023 it has been attached to the University of Barcelona (UB). In 2024 an affiliation agreement was signed with the Abat Oliba, CEU University
